Jinggangshan University is located in Ji'an City, the cradle of the Chinese revolution, Jinggangshan, which is known as the "Jiangnan Wang County" and enjoys the reputation of "the land of literature, integrity and righteousness". The school was founded in 1958. After several mergers and changes of school names, it was restored and renamed Jinggangshan University in 2007.
